SOUTH OF FRANCE

"The couple’s vocals intertwine magnetically, sticking to one another and spiraling enthusiastically. Jagged guitar lines crash against synthesizer drones and shaking drums. It’s brash, chaotic, and lovely — the perfect soundtrack for a French sunset". - CONSEQUENCE OF SOUND
"The duo—made up of Jeff and Kelly Cormack—make a very sprightly kind of indie-pop, 60s-tinged and feeling fine." - NOISEY
"Jeff and Kelly write and record hazy, warm indie pop as South Of France and they're planning to drop their sophomore collection sometime in 2017.  But that doesn't mean you'll have to keep replaying their 2012 introduction, Another Boring Sunrise to tide you over until then.  The duo shared the first song off the collection this week. Called "Civilization"  it's sunny and sticky,  and hopefully just a taste of what's to come." - ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY

South Of France is an indie-pop band based out of Denver that was initially started by multi-intstrumentalist/producer Jeff Cormack in 2012. Inspired by his love for retro guitar-pop, it began as a spare-time, lo-fi, garage rock project until Jeff met singer/songwriter Kelly Lueke (who is now Kelly Cormack) in Los Angeles. They quickly realized they had astonishingly similar taste in music and decided to join forces to create dynamic, dreamy, dance-able, melody and guitar-driven indie-pop that is centered around their intertwining male and female vocal parts and lush layers of catchy, reverb-soaked harmonies.

Their independently released, debut full-length album "Another Boring Sunrise" was featured on several major music blog's "Most Anticipated Albums of 2012" lists, and was released on Sept. 18th 2012. This album landed them print features in Under The Radar magazine, Filter Magazine, Band of the Day, and has earned excellent reviews from  numerous influential music critics around the world. With their 6-person live band, South Of France has shared the stage as direct support for major acts including, The Flaming Lips, Portugal. The Man, Two Door Cinema Club, Divine Fits, Matt and Kim, Jimmy Eat World, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, and many more. They have also played official showcases at multiple major festivals including: CMJ, NXNE, POP Montreal, Northside Festival, Filter Magazine's Culture Collide, UMS, and several others.

In 2014 South Of France was listed as one of the top ten reasons to visit Denver by Refinery29 Magazine.

South of France is currently finishing their sophomore album for release in 2017. Their first two singles from the new  album were premiered on Vice’s Noisey and Consequence of Sound and have been picked up by several commercial radio stations around the world.

INNER OCEANS

"...pulsing, psychedelic turn... percussion builds and breaks, while the ghostly vocals and light distortion pull you through to an airy finish." - NPR
“Delivering maddening, stadium-ready giants right under people’s noses.” - DIY "..feels so earnest, like if Sufjan Stevens went back in time and crafted a mid-90s New Age-pop hit." - IDOLATOR

"...feral harmonies welding with the chorus' thick wall of noise and multifaceted melodies." - THE LINE OF BEST FIT

“Inner Oceans was formed in 2013 by frontman Griffith Snyder, guitarist/programmer Charles Kern, and multi-instrumentalist Julia Mendiolea.  The project was born from a desire to sculpt music that is exceptionally personal, while also embodying a spiritual mystery and elegance that is just out of reach.  Every song is an empty shell waiting to be inhabited by what they call, “The Ghost”. Finding The Ghost of each song is to chase that ineffable spirit-quality that transcends an arrangement of notes, and transforms the song space into a sacred moment experienced by the listener alone.

The success of their early singles, “8 Cousins // Everything's Alright”, has earned them a strong international following and repeated placements on high-profile Spotify playlists.

MODERN LEISURE

Modern Leisure is the new indie-pop, folk-rock project headed by Casey Banker (Shady Elders, The Don'ts and Be Carefuls) and featuring a slew of Denver music vets. It is a band that features illicit tales of hedonism and heartbreak under the guise of lush guitars and a hodgepodge of warm melodies. Taking inspiration from fellow dabblers in sad/pop like Metronomy, Destroyer, and The Radio Dept., the project aims to sooth the listener into a coma of comfort.
